Commercial Group of Companies Expands into Winnipeg with Acquisition of Euroway Industrial Service Co.

Canada’s largest Truck, Utility, and Emergency Equipment supplier has acquired Winnipeg-based Euroway Industrial Service Co., bolstering its sales, parts, service, and support network in Manitoba.

DELTA, BC – May 31, 2023 – The Commercial Group of Companies, comprising Commercial Truck Equipment, Commercial Utility Equipment, and Commercial Emergency Equipment, has acquired Euroway Industrial Service Co., a leading Winnipeg-based truck equipment service and installation provider. This acquisition will ensure a dedicated, long-term presence for Commercial’s operations in Manitoba, and serve customers throughout the region with sales, service, support, and parts, bringing the Commercial Group’s total branch network to ten Canadian locations.

Euroway Industrial has a 50+ year history of offering its customers exceptional products, service, and technical experience including safety inspections, hydraulic repair, truck equipment installation, and upfitting including a specialization in road-to-rail vehicles (as an authorized supplier and installer of Rafna and Harsco hyrail equipment), generator & compressor work, and many other truck equipment specializations. The Winnipeg facility boasts 12,000 sq. ft of production, service, and office space on 3 acres, with 6 bay doors, and 16 staff joining the Commercial team.

Euroway Industrial will be transitioning to Commercial Winnipeg and will retain current staff, business hours, and service offerings as well as inheriting Commercial’s best-in-class product lines. A dedicated Emergency Vehicle Technician and expanded Utility and Truck equipment service capabilities are also being added to the new Winnipeg branch to support Commercial’s significant customer base in Manitoba. Existing Euroway customers will also see a greatly expanded parts offering, gaining access to both Commercial’s market-leading hydraulic and control products for the work truck industries, and Commercial’s national parts warehouse network paired with unmatched staff expertise in Truck, Utility and Emergency equipment solutions.
